Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

RAPTVIEW (Pty) Ltd ("Raptview", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to Raptview and our tools.

Who we are

Data controller: RAPTVIEW (Pty) Ltd, 1 Modisane Street, Centurion, South Africa. Contact: office@raptview.com.

What we collect

  • AI Visibility Check: the email and optional website you enter, and your assessment score.
  • Contact & enquiries: your name, email, optional website and message.
  • Purchases: handled by our payment processor, PayFast. We receive your name, email and order details — never your full card number.
  • Usage: first-party analytics (page visited, referring domain, a one-way hashed IP) and Google Analytics 4, which sets its own analytics cookies (e.g. _ga) to measure traffic. We run no advertising or cross-site retargeting.

How & why we use it

To send your report and the products or replies you ask for; to provide and improve our tools and services; to take payment and meet legal/accounting duties. Our lawful bases are your consent (e.g. the report), performing a contract (purchases), and our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. We never sell your data.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted processors who handle data only on our instructions:

  • ·Payfast (Pty) Ltd — Payment processing (checkout, card & EFT, receipts)
  • ·Hostinger International Ltd — Website hosting & form email delivery
  • ·Google LLC — Web fonts (served from Google Fonts)

Some of these operate outside your country; where they do, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Our free Signal page loads live data directly from third-party feeds (open.er-api.com for exchange rates and the Hacker News/Algolia API for AI news). When it does, your browser contacts those services directly, so they may see your IP address under their own privacy terms. We send them no personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep lead and enquiry records for up to 24 months, and transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).

Your rights (GDPR · POPIA · NDPA)

You can request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data, or object to processing — anytime — by emailing office@raptview.com. We action verified requests within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics, which sets first-party analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to measure visits; you can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site retargeting cookies. Your browser also stores a small local flag to remember you dismissed our privacy notice — this never leaves your device.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Questions: RAPTVIEW (Pty) Ltd · Lagos, Nigeria · Johannesburg, South Africa · office@raptview.com
